Practice Office Policy
This policy explains how Wild Clinic runs day to day: how to contact us, how appointments work, and what you can expect from the practice. You agree to it when you register for the client portal, alongside our Terms of Engagement and GDPR Privacy Notice.
The practice
Wild Clinic is operated by Wilding Tribe. Nutritional therapy services are provided by Mark Bennett, BSc (Hons), mBANT, CNHC, a registered Nutritional Therapist practising under the CNHC Code of Conduct. Consultations are delivered 1:1 by private video call.
Contacting the practice
- Client portal messaging at my.wildclinic.co.uk is the best route for non-urgent questions about your care.
- Email: info@wildclinic.co.uk
- Phone: +44 (0)1183 219 533
We aim to respond to portal messages and email within 2 working days. The practice does not provide urgent or emergency care. If you are unwell and need urgent help, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.
Appointments
Appointments are booked through the client portal. Your video link arrives by confirmation email before each session. Cancellations and rescheduling are covered by the Clinic Cancellation Policy, which asks for at least 48 hours' notice.
Your health record
Your questionnaires, consultation notes, protocols and test results are held securely in the practice-management system, as described in the GDPR Privacy Notice. Please keep your contact details up to date through the portal, and tell us about any change in your health, medication or supplements between appointments.
Working alongside your medical care
Nutritional therapy is a complementary discipline. It supports, and does not replace, medical care. The practitioner does not diagnose or claim to treat medical conditions, and will refer you to your GP if anything in your case requires medical attention. With your permission, the practitioner may write to your GP about agreed aspects of your care.
Supplements and testing
Where supplements are recommended, follow the agreed protocol and contact the practice before extending any supplement beyond its agreed period. Laboratory testing is recommended only where appropriate; test fees are charged separately by the laboratory. Results are reviewed with you in consultation, with a full explanation of what they mean for your case.
Consent for children and teenagers
A parent or legal guardian books, gives consent and attends consultations. Under the law of England and Wales this applies to clients under 16, but the age at which a young person can consent for themselves varies from country to country, so we confirm who needs to give consent before the first consultation. Where there is any doubt, a parent or legal guardian consents and takes part. Full details are in the Terms of Engagement.
Fees
Programme payment is taken in full when you complete your intake questionnaire, at which point the Terms of Engagement are agreed. Laboratory and supplement costs are separate and always agreed with you first.
Feedback and complaints
If something is not right, tell us first: most concerns are resolved quickly by email or a call. If you remain unhappy, you can raise a formal complaint with BANT or the CNHC, the practitioner's professional and regulatory bodies.
Respect
We treat clients with courtesy and expect the same in return. The practice reserves the right to end care, with appropriate notice and a fair refund of undelivered services, where the relationship has broken down.
